Jam Strait LED products are manufactured to the highest standards, with the best and brightest LEDs, and best quality components, circuit cards, Poly Carbonate Housings, and metal bases. Each product is tested for performance and inspected by Quality Control and must meet our high standards before they ship from our factories. However occasionally a product with factory defect will pass test and inspection and then fail in operation due to cold solder joint or bad LED. This is what our warranty is for. It does not cover damage caused by application. However, if it is not a manufacturing defect, we will still repair it if the customer pays for parts, labor, and shipping in advance.
Limited Warranties: Warranties only cover material and workmanship defects from the factory. Products are only
intended for use in automotive regulated 12-13.8 volts dc applications to replace incandescent bulbs. Use in other than intended applications and conditions voids warranty. Damage caused by the following are not covered: Heat, vibration, misapplication, over voltage, over current, dropping, modifying, loose battery cables, removing battery cables with engine running, vehicles with voltages in excess of 13.8 vdc, elec. noise or spikes, static electricity, moisture, chemical, and more. Warranties are limited to the replacement or repair of products at our discretion and are non-transferable. Warranties do not cover damage caused after the sale for any reason. Warranties go into effect 9/1/04 and supercede all previous warranties.
Dealer Warranty: 30 days on covered items.
If the dealer is willing, the customer may return covered items to dealer for exchange during this period if they have original sales receipt, they still look new, and the damage is bad material or workmanship from the factory. Dealer's acceptance of uncovered returns will be at their own expense. Dealer must call and get an RMA number from JS and ship covered items with RMA # on packing list and original sales receipts to us for credit or replacement. If any items are returned to us without dated sales receipt and RMA or if they are out of warranty, or if they are found to be without material and workmanship defects, the returned items will not be replaced, repaired or credited and dealer will have to pay for return shipping if they want them back. The LED manufacturers will not honor warranty to Jam Strait without original dated sales receipt from customer. After 30 days the retail customer must contact us directly at 601-683-0104 for extended warranty issues.
Customer Extended Warranties: The following extended customer warranties pick up after the 30 day return to dealer warranty expires.

Extended warranties are directly with us. Customer pays shipping and handling both ways. The dated original sales receipt is required. If customer returns any item without original sales receipt, or if it is out of warranty, or if it is found to be without material or workmanship defect, then the warranty does not apply and the customer has to pay shipping and handling if they want the product back and repair cost if they want it repaired. Customer must call JS and get an RMA# to return warranty parts. Specific information will be required when they call so they should have on hand.
